Classic Apple Crisp
Homemade apple crisp with tons of struessel topping! Just like grandma used to make it.

Ingredients
Apples
enough to fill a cake pan 3/4 full
3/4
cup
sugar

tsp
cinnamon

flour
1/2
cups
oatmeal
2
cups
brown sugar
1
cup
butter
Instructions
Peel and slice enough apples to fill a 9x13 inch cake pan 3/4 of the way full.
Mix the sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl and sprinkle it over the apples evenly.
Combine the flour, brown sugar, and oatmeal.
Cut in the butter with a pastry cutter.
Sprinkle the crumb topping over the apples.
Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
Notes
You can cut the crumb mixture in half if it is too much streusel for you. We like a lot of streusel topping.
